GRAIN

Grain is a biologically active product, and its “breathing” is associated with heat generation. Depending on the temperature and humidity, stored grain can be left without any intervention of the staff or it requires the use of technological treatments. Temperature control is by far the only one that can be done inside a 750-ton container of grain. Temperature and its changing tendency are an indication of processes occurring inside the stored grain.

Reduction in running costs of grain transport equipment

Knowing the moisture level of the stored grain, it is possible to assess its condition by measuring the temperature inside bulk grain. The SILO-TECH enables routine performance of such measurements. When the actual condition of the stored grain is known, its preventive pouring or ventilating becomes unnecessary.
